LONDON WOOL SALES. (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, May 17. At the wool sales 9143 bales were offered, including 6370 New Zealand. About 7209 wore sold. There was a lirni tone, and offerings were readily cleared at I'd 11 rates under brisk home and Continental competition. New Zealand greasy crossbred, AHW. top price IOV4d, average 8d; scoured hall'bred, John, 1714(1 and 17d.
