AUSTRALIA'S POPULATION.
It is expected that the Australian census will have shown by the end of June an increase of the Commonwealth population to 6,600,000. This represents ?n increase of 1,200,000 since the last census taken in 1021, or an advance ■of 20 per cent within 12 years.
