PAKAPOO ALLEGED.
SEVEN CHINESE ARRESTED. (By Telegraph. —Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Wednesday. Chinese premises at Carroll Street, where it was alleged that a pakapoo lottery was being conducted, were raided by the police to-night. Seven Chinese were arrested. „ At a special sitting of the Police Court late to-night, before the Rev. Bryan King, J.P., Charlie Wong was charged with keeping a common gaming house, Sing Ling and Wing a.mg with assisting in conducting the house, and Sew Hong, Ah Young, Chin Hon, and Chin Yet with being found on- the were remanded to appear tomorrow morning.
