STRONG SHOCK.
CALIFORNIAN TREMOR. (Received 10 a.m.) SAN FRANCISCO, May 16. A strong shock was felt at 3.45 a.m. on Tuesday. A few windows were broken, and furniture and windows rattled. In Stockton, 75 miles east, and Santa Rosa, 50 miles north, street lights were extinguished.
