HORSES FOR THE NORTH. DUE TO LEAVE YESTERDAY. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") WELLINGTON, this day. The Blenheim trainer T. R. George, with his team for the North,.- was •expected to leave Picton last night, hie horses being Landmark, Make Up, and Miladi. They will be at Te Rapa for the Te Kuiti meeting, and after racing there at the week-end will go on to Ellerslie. Landmark pulled up lame after racing on the first day of the Marlborough meeting, but intentions are to take him North, for the trouble is' not considered serious. He is not engaged at Te Rapa on the first day, and may be given a outing on Monday if the lameness goes off.
Stanchion is also missing from Saturday's field, although he may be taken North.
