LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE.
GERMAN BONDS WEAKER. (British Official Wireless.) liUGBY, May 14. Business on the London Stock Exchange yesterday was very restricted owing to political events. Changes were small, but the general tendency was reactionary. Some British funds dropped, but war loan, 3% per cent, was unchanged. German fconds showed marked weakness on the report that the Young Plan paynieute falling due to-morrow and quoted in depreciated currencies will be met in the nominal amount due, irrespective of the gold clauses. These 'bonds closed a little above the worst. Leading internationa.l stocks showed a slight fall. Home industrial shares were irregular, but iron and steel were firm.
