DEATH OF PRINCESS,
'After - 'a holiday visit to Australia, the Hon. William Tugi, Premier and Prince Consort of Tonga, arrived in Auckland from ' Sydney "By the Niagara this morning. He will stay in Auckland several days before returning to the Islands. He has been away from Tonga for Several'months. He arrived in Auckland before Christmas and-spent the Christmas and New Year holidays here before' going on to Australia. Mr. Tugi referred to the death of Princess Fusila Bala, who died in Sydney on April 21. The body,'ho said, was being carried on to the Islands by the Niagara. The death of the princess was the first death among Tongan royalty since 1918. The funeral ceremony would bo much the same as that carried out by tho Maoris after the death of a chief. The Queen on Tonga would announce how long the mourning was. to - last. It would B~e at least a month.. ■ •
