LABOUR'S POLICY.
MR. HOLLAND IN DUNEDIN. WINTER TOTAL OF UNEMPLOYED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. Mr. H. E. Holland, leader of the Labour partv, addressed a crowded meetint in the Town Hall last evening. He asserted that there were at least 120,000 unemployed, and that the total would probably increase to 150,000 this winter. A Labour Government would transfer these people to economic work at a standard wage. Mr. Holland gave full details Of the Labour party's policy, as already announced, attacked the "chronic obsession that the productive and distributive system of the country must be subservient to' the prevailing finance system," whereas the reverse was necessary. Labour would make available necessary credit currency to rehabilitate industry and prevent inflation by a parallel increase in production. A unanimous vote of . thanks was passed. Mr. Holland left for the North this morning. .•
