A GRADE. GLENDOWIE V. MAUNGAKIEKIB. The pennant match between Maungaklekie and Gleudowie was played at Glendowie, and resulted In a win for the home team by Ave matches to three, one game being all square. Results, with Maungaklekie names first, are: R. A. George beat B. Hutchison, 5 and S ; G. K. Hawley beat F. Trice, 3 and 2 ; J. S. Rankin lost to C. S. Woods, 2 and 1: J. H. A match between teams selected by the president and vice-president of the Glendowie Golf Club was played on Saturday and resulted in a win by the narrow margin of one game for' the president's team. AUCKLAND CLUB. The first round of the E. R, Bloomfield' Bowl competition was played by members of the Auckland Golf Club at Middlemore on Saturday, 10G players taking out cards.
