IMPORTS FROM RUSSIA.
It is to be sincerely hoped tlio New Zealand Government will take no action in retaliation against Soviet Russia. The importation of Russian petrol alone lias been justified by the resultant drop in prices of other petrols by twopence a gallon, Mr. J. G. Coates notwithstanding. The saving to consumers on this account must already amount to thousands of pounds. The rights or wrongs of the cause of the British Government's on imports have little to do with us, and Britain needs no help from us in her actions. HOPING.
