CROQUET.
CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS. The annual champion of chanjpions tournament of the Auckland Croquet Association was continued yesterday on the Carlton lawn. The buttons competitions for B and C grade players were also commenced. Play was expected to be finalised to-day. Results :— Champion of Champions.—Miss Keatley beat Mesdames Maxwell and Buckle, Mrs. Thomson beat Mrs. White. B Buttons.—Mrs. Gardiner beat Miss Bowman, Mrs. Petchell beat Mrs. Buchanan, Mrs. Trewheela beat Mrs. Salmon, Mrs. Roberts beat Mesdames Solomon and Trewheela, Mrs. Herd beat Mrs. Bush, Mrs. Jones beat Mrs. McPhail. Mrs. McKay beat Mrs. Savin, Mrs. Brookes beat Mrs. Edgar. C Buttons.—Mrs. Barfiell beat Mrs. PasRott, Mrs. McKendrick beat Mrs. Tutt, Mrp.
