ONEHUNGA CITIZENS' BAND
The twenty-ninth annual meeting of the Onehunga Citizens' Baud was held on Wednesday night, Mr. C. West presidjng. The report presented hy Mr. A. Clayuon, secretary, was considered highly satisfactory The financial statement showed that the sum of £82 3/10 was the net credit balance from the recent carnival promoted to purchase new uniforms for the band. There was a credit balance in the general fund, and assets valued at £357. The election of officers resulted:— Patrons, Mr. W. J. Jordan, M.P., Mr. 13, Morton, Mayor; chairman, Mr. F. W. Mountjoy; deputy-chairman and auditor, Mr. H. Rafferty; secretary and treasurer, Mr. A. Claydon, with a committee of 12 members, representing the citizens (seven), i band (three), and borough council (two).
