MISS BATTEN IN PERSIA.
BAGDAD, April 14.
Miss Jean Batten, the Auckland girl who left Lympne, Kent, on Sunday morning on a flight to Australia, arrived at Bagdad on Wednesday and departed for Bushire, Persia, two hours later. There has been no news of her since then. British airmen are astonished at the progress Miss Batten is making.
