King George has' one of the finest stamp'collections of British stamps, fie first .became interested in the hobby when lie was a midshipman, and the collection now occupies 200 albums in charge of Sir D. Bacon, who holds the office of Keeper of the King's Stamps. The collection has a special room in Bucl.ingham Palace.
