GREY LYNN LABOUR PARTY
The Grey Lynn Branch of the New Zealand Labour party held its monthly meeting in the Grey Lynn Library committee room this week. Mr. J. S. Stewart presided. The election of auditors, which was held over from the annual meeting, resulted in the appointment of Messrs. F. E. Martin and G. Munn. Mr. J. A. Lee, M.P., was selected to be the branch s delegate to the 17th annual conference of the party, commencing next Monday. Members of the branch who are contesting the Auckland City CounciF elections are Mrs. M. Lee (wife of Mr. J. A. Lee, M.P.), and Messrs. A. Gordon Hultquist and J. S. Stewart. One of the branch's delegates to the Auckland L.R.C., Mr. A. G. Hultquist,. was re-elected to the L.R.C. executive at its annual meeting.
