DIAMOND WEDDING.

On Thursday evening the family of Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Heath, of Garnet Road, entertained over 100 guests at St. Cuthbert's Hall, Westmere, to celebrate the diamond anniversary of their parents' wedding. Mr. and Mrs. Heath were welcomed by the playing of the "Wedding March," and two small granddaughters strewed petals in their path as they advanced up the hall. The evening was a pleasant one, and items were given by Messrs. H.. V. Gribble and G. Girven and Mrs. A. E. Anderson, and Misses Kitty Gribble, Cassie E. Gribble and Doreen Heath. Numerous telegrams and pre--sents were received from all over the Dominion. After nipper had been served the evening closed with "Auld Lang Syne." Mrs. Heath carried a beautiful bouquet of carnations and maidenhair fern, a gift from the three absent members of the family. Amongst the guests present were: Mesdames H. Gribble, F. Heath, H.
