BOGUS INSPECTOR.
CHRISTCHURCH COMPLAINTS.
SEVERAL WOMEN ACCOSTED.

CHRISTCHURCH, this day.
Complaints of the activities of a bogus traffic inspector have been received by the City Council. A woman writer states that she was walking near the Bowker Fountain when an elderly man officiously ordered her to walk in another direction. Several other women were likewise accosted.
The letter was referred to the chief traffic inspector, who reported that twice during the past month he shifted a man who w;as acting as an inspector in the centre of the street. The department did not know the man's name.
