RIFLE SHOOTING.

AKARANA CLUB.

Preceding the South Auckland rifle meetit is customary for the Akarana Rifle Club to lire two ten-shot shoots over the range of 700 yds to give the members an opportunity of testing elevation prior to the club team departing to the meeting. The shoot is a handicap one, and the trophy is presented by Mr. Don Calder in the form of a cup, which was won by A. M. Jenkinson. In conjunction with the shoot a teams match was fired between Akarana and City Clubs, the latter winning by five points. Details of the shooting are as follow: A. M.
