TRAFFIC CONTROL.
AMAZING LONDON DEVICE. RUGBY, April 9. The electro-magnetic traffic Control system now successfully operating in Trafalgar Square, London, shortly will be adopted in 36 municipal areas, including many of the large industrial cities. Instead of fixed time intervals the new system actually operates colour and light signals in accordance with the varying traffic requirements, by means of a detector unit indicating the presence and movement of approaching vehicles.
