DOMAIN CRICKET.

CHAMPIONSHIP PLAY. B.V. IW STRONG POSITION. GREEN LANE STILL A FACTOR. The Auckland City and Suburban Cricket Association's championship competition was advanced another stage on Saturday at the Domain, where conditions favoured the batsmen, though beyond a sparkle in the Mount Albert batting, there was no very outstanding individual performance. Having dismissed Invicta for 77 runs and replied with 125 runs for eight wickets, R.V. are assured of a win. They may finish with a six-pointer. On the other hand Green Lane have been able to keep Harbour Board's score down to 154, and at present look like being the means of Harbour Board's downfall for the season's honours. Green Lane have yet to bat. Mount Albert Grammar Old Boys and Ponsonby used No. 1 wicket, the former hoisting 192 runs in their first innings. Scores:— GREEN LANE V. HARBOUR BOARD.
