WEDDINGS OF THE WEEK.

KEY—NEILSON. A very pretty wedding was solemnised in St. Andrew's Cliurch, Otahuhu, last Thursday evening, when Isabel Mabel Montgomerie Neilson, only daughter of Mrs. and the late Mr. J. M. Neilson, of Otahuhu, was married to John Marshall Key, twin son of Mrs. and the late Mr. W." A. Key, of "Atliolstane," Mangere. Rev. A. M. Elliffe performed the ceremony. The church was tastefully decorated in cream and gold by the members of the choir, of which the bride is a member. The bride, who was given away by her uncle, Mr. W. Spicer, wore a beautiful gown of ivory ring velvet, made with a tight-fitting bodice and long closefitting sleeves, the neckline forming a cowl effect. The skirt, which was flared, formed a train. Her wonderful veil was of old Spanish lace, mounted on tulle. It was arranged on the head with a cluster of orange blossoms at the nape of the neck, forming a cap. A beautiful bouquet of white azaleas and tuber roses, finished with streamers of tulle, was carried. In attendance as bridesmaids were Misses Joyce Neilson and Beryl Key, who were dressed alike in frocks of silk velvet of a beautiful gold ehade, with tight-fitting bodices and flared skirts that fell to the ankles. Small toques of the same material were worn. They carried bouquets of autumn-tinted chrysanthemums and dahlias, finished with narrow gold streamers. The bridegroom was attended by his twin brother, Mr. Leonard Key, and Mr. Ross Faulkner, of Tauranga, acted as groomsman. Mrs. Neilson (mother of the bride) wore a frock of black georgette and lace and neat black hat, and she carried a crimson bouquet. Mrs. Key (mother of the bridegroom) wore a frock of brown Chantilly lace, the underskirt appliqued with pink roses, and Bhe wore a hat to tone. She carried a bouquet of pink flowers. Miss I. Spicer (aunt of the bride) wore navy blue georgette and lace and navy blue hat. The wedding reception was held at the Parnell Park tea kiosk, where [a hundred guests were entertained.

McCALLDM—SIMS. A pretty wedding took place on Wednesday evening at Mount Albert Presbyterian Church, when Patricia Muriel, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. W. McCallum, of Mount Albert, was married to Kobert Entrican, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Sims, of Mount Albert. Th« Rev. R. Evans performed the ceremony, which was fully choral, both bride and bridegroom being members of the choir. Miss Moncur sang devotionally "My Prayer," Miss M. Spargo presiding at the organ. The church was artistically decorated by the choir for the occasion. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore an ankle-length frock of cream satin beaute, Empire style. Lent by an aunt, Mrs. Spargo, of Sydney, the veil of exquisite Brussels point lace, worn by three generations, fell in graceful folds from a. coronet of orange blossom. She carried a sheath of white cactus dahlias and begonias. Wearing a pink floral frock, little Maureen Cooke, flower girl, carried a basket of dahlias and delphiniums. The attending bridesmaids, Misses Thelma Driscoll, Beatrice Lowe and Judy Sims, were frocked alike in periwinkle blue organdie, fitting bodices to knees, flared flounces to ground, head bands of pink organdie petals. They carried pink dahlia bouquets. Mr. Blackwood Paul, of Hamilton, attended the bridegroom as best man, Messrs. Frank Sims and Keith McCallum as groomsmen. Messrs. H. L. Calder and Browne Morris acted as ushers. Later a reception was held at the residence of the bride's parents, Mrs. McCallum, gowned in black marocain, with multi-coloured diagonal facings, receiving the guests. Her bouquet was crimson dahlias and begonias. Mrs. Sims, mother of the bridegroom, wore an ensemble of black and gold crepe de chine and carried an autumn tinted bouquet. The bride's travelling frock was red ensemble and sables. The young couple left on a motor tour.
