TAURANGA YOUTH DROWNED. ATTEMPT TO LIFT ANCHOR. ' I ' k (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) ; TAURANGA, this day. An unfortunate drowning accident occurred in the harbour off Omokoroa between eight and nine o'clock last evening. A party, consisting of Mr. and Mrs. McCullough and a youth named Richard Graham, aged 18, the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. R. Graham, of Tauranga, went in McCullough's.., launch on a fishing expedition. It appears that the youth, when pulling up the anchor, by some means fell overboard, but the accident was not actually seen by the others. The tide was running strongly, and Graham, who apparently was unable to ewim, was carried away and drowned.
