NORTH SHORE WATER.
PURIFICATION SCHEME. EAELY START WITH WORK. The Devonport Borough Council decided last evening to proceed immediately with the, scheme to purify the water supplied from Lake Pupuke to Devonport and Takapuna. The scheme includes a holding tank, aeration and filtration at Lake Pupuke, and is estimated to cost about £5000. Tenders for the work are to be called at once.
