TE AWAMUTU TRACKS.

DINELLI AMD RITA'S LIGHT. BERYL LATOUR FOR STRATFORD. The course proper, about 9ft from the rails, was available for fast work at Te Awamutu yesterday morning, and it was in excellent order. Although nothing of a very strenuous nature was undertaken several useful sprint tasks were indulged in. Other tracks in use were the plough, hurdle and inner grass. The Course Proper. Dinelli was the first to work on the course proper, being allotted four furlongs, which she completed in 50 l-ss. This filly looks in nice order. Impasto was not bustled while completing three furlongs in 39V£s. If this colt fails to run up to expectations at Eaeter it -will not be for lack of fitness, as he is doing all that is being asked .of him at present well. Tenakoe appeared to be moving very ungenerously throughout four furlongs, taking 50 4-ss.' He was being kept up to his work. Eager Rose was allotted a mile, but was not timed. She was working along very pleasingly. The fastest halfmile of the morning was done by Sea Ruler, who completed the distance in 50s. He could have bettered this slightly. This gelding has gone on the right way since Eaeroa, and will strip a very fit horse at Easter. D'Artagnan was under restraint while placing three furlongs behind him in 40 2-sc. Jonathan, who was accompanied by Safe Bank, worked lazily over a mile which was covered in 1.51 1-5. The Great Northern St. Leger Stakes candidate looks in nice order just now, and, should he go on the right way, will certainly be a starter in that event. Rita's Light displayed plenty of dash while working over five furlongs. She was under restraint over the last bit, her time being 1.4 1-5. Plough and Inner Tracks. Among those doing pace tasks on these tracks were: Campanero, Marechal, Ruri, Trickling Water, Protomint. Gallant Jack, Sir Musk, Transaction, Musquil, Emancipation, King Comet, Arawa Rose, Trishna, and Goodfellow. Limeen was given jogftinp; exercise. Beryl Latoiir, who has been accepted for at Stratford,- left yesterday morning by motor float to fulfil her engagements at that meeting.
