MANUKAU AMATEUR CLUB. In addition to the two championship events and the four cycle handicaps, five athletic handicaps will bo decided at the Manukau Amateur Cycling Club's meeting at the Papatoetoe Stadium on Saturday. The following handicaps have been declared :— 75 Yards Ladies' Handicap.—Mrs. A. J. Harris, scr; Miss R. Tilby, Miss A. .T. Hcouller, syds; Miss P. Neil Miss T. Holmes, 7yds. 75 Yards Open Handicap.—D. N. Eae, Gyds ; C, It. Naden, 7Jyds. 410 Yards Handicap.— J". Valder, 16yds; D. N. Rae, 25yds; C. IT. Nnden, 40yds. One Mile -Handicap.— J. Valder. 45yds ; E. Littler, 90yds ; K. Bellingham, 100 yds : C. Littler, 210 yds. Hnlf-inile Walk.—S. Gudsell, scr; E. J. Laird, 14s ; G. 0. Adams, 20s. Handicaps Withheld.—Miss D. Reynolds, A. Killeen, S. Fraser. At last evening's meeting of the committee the following arrangement of the heats for the two laps sprint championship title, to be conducted at the Papatoetoe Stadium next Saturday, were made: First heat, F. J. Casey, 11. O. Browne, H. K. Dwight; second heat, G. P. Clark, l>. H. D'wight, F. K. Markhdm; third heat, E. D. Andrews, N. Fisher, ,T. H. Hall; fourth heat, .T. W. Clark, R. G. Foubister. Thirteen heats will have to be decided before the ultimate winner of the sprint title will be arrived at. This will be made so by reason of the special heats ror riders who do not win the heats. Should a competitor win each of his events he will ride five times to gain the title. There are 17 starters in the five miles championship race over 30 laps of the track. This race will commence from a rolling start. In addition to the championi ship event the Papatoetoe Club will con- ■ duct a special lap record attempt confined ; to its members for the Vickery Challenge ' Shield. . ■ #
