(Sent in by Phyllis Vazey, 28, St. James Street, Auckland.) The very stout man and the thin man had been having an argument. At last, becoming rather angry, they descended to personalities. "From the look of you, anyone would think there had been a famine," cried the stout man. "Yes, and one glance at you would convince anyone that you had caused it," retorted the thin man.
