AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION.
LOWER GRADB CHAMPIONS.
At its weekly meeting last liigbt the Auckland Cricket Association declared the Point Chevalier team the winner of the fourth grade, and the Comrades A team the winner of the fifth grade competition. The South Auckland Association, in replying to the association's invitation to play at Auckland on Saturday week, regretted that it could not send a team owing to the shortage of time for imishing its own club competitions. On account of the number of teams already engaged in tours, and to the shortness of notice, the committee found it impossible to send a junior team to Hamilton and andther to Rodney at Easter. Permission was granted the Ponsonby Club to send a team to Cambridge and Waihi at Easter. ■ Matches arranged for Saturday week .— Farnell v. North Shore, North Shore JSo. 1; Management Committee v. Junior Advisory Committee, Eden Park No. 1, Saturday April 15; North Shore v. Combined Secondary Schools, North Shore No. 1.
