FINANCIAL TROUBLES.
.(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. The fact that the Canterbury Football Association is in financial difliculties was n ral™l at a meeting of the management committee this evening. discussed whether the association should go into voluntary liquidation and accept a proposal by the New Zealand Council that Association football in Canterbury should be controlled by a sub-committee of the council or should endeavour to make satisfactory arrangements with its creditors. '• . »."«,„ A special meeting of creditors is to be called for next Monday. A special general meeting of the association will be held a flay or two later to discuss whether the association shall continue in control in the event of a satisfactory settlement being reached with its creditors, or go into liquidation.
