LESSONS BY WIRELESS.

SUCCESSFUL INAUGURATION.

The successful introduction of wireless instruction in certain of the schools in the Auckland Province was reported at the meeting of the Auckland Education Board this morning. Mr. C. R. Munroe, a member of the committee appointed to further broadcasting to the schools, stated that about 12 country schools were now equipped with receiving sets. Fifteen-minute talks on subjects suih as science, _ art, elocution and literature had been given, and appreciation of the innovation had been expressed by the masters. The wireless courses, which were given between 2 and 3 p.m. on Mondays, were going to be very beneficial. It was hoped that eventually all the schools in the province would be equipped with receiving sets, and be able to take advantage of the service, which was already operating extensively in Wellington unci Chrisl church.
