PIANO STUDENTS.
Plans for the forthcoming year were decided upon at the fortnightly meeting of the Auckland Piano Students' Assoelation held last night in the Lewis Eady I Buildings. The president, Miss Joyce Parker, presided. A short musicnl programme was given by Misses Joyce Parker, B. Pelham, E. Nops, J. Ranston, Pearl Wallace, J. Parker and E. Blackburn. I A leading feature of the work for this year ivill be the study of folk music, and in this connection Miss Parker gave o short talk upon folk music in general and the part in its development that was played by environment and national J characteristics.
