AT LOW EBB.
CRIME IN AUCKLAND. NO ARRESTS SINCE SUNDAY. Crime is at a very low ebb this week. Not a single arrest has been made in the whole of Auckland since 3.15 o:i Sunday afternoon. Accordingly there wae no sitting of the Police Court this morning. According to Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., this is the third oecaeion within 15 years that there have been no criminal or drunkenness cases on the charge sheets. The last occasion was six weo,ks ago today. Thie morning one or two maintenance matters were adjusted by the magistrate. Had it not been for these casee, which, are always set down for hearing on Tuesday, Mr. Hunt would not have been called upon to take the bench, at all. /
