RACING IN AUSTRALIA.
THE ROSEHILL MEETING. WIN FOR EPHIALTES. SYDNEY, March 26. At the Rosehill meeting yesterday the former New Zealand gelding Ephiaites, 8.10 (Munro) won, the Rydalmere Handicap, a sweepstake of l%sovs each, with ISOsovs added; one mile. There were five staiters and Ephialtes won by two lengths and a half from Merry land, 9.11 (Montgomery), with Nellie May, 7.11 (Pink), third. The time was 1.40.
Ephialtes was raced in New Zealand by Mrs. T. B. Dwan, of Wellington, but he is now held on lease by Mr. L. Moss.
