LOCAL BUTTER PRICES.
REDUCTION OF ONE PENNY.
In sympathy with the trend on the London markets, Auckland butter distributors have lowered the wholesale prices of butter by Id per lb as from tc-day. Finest and first grade is quoted at 10% d per lb, second grade at 9Vsd, and whey at B%d, subject to %d discount in each case for net cash. The new retail rates will be 1/ for first grade, and lid for second. ,
