Big Orders for Scotland When America "Goes Wet." BOOTLEGGERS' £80,000 ORDER. (Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, February 10. The Glasgow correspondent of the "Daily Herald" states that two leading New York bootleggers have arrived with an order for £80,000 worth of whisky to bo shipped within a month via the Continent for a. syndicate which is reputed to control a private wireless station which instructs ships with illicit cargoes. Scottish exporters are receiving many inquiries from American firms wishing to act as distributing agents, on the assumption that America will go wet when Mr. Franklin Roosevelt takes office.
