MAUNGAKIEKIE CLUB. The following were the best cards returned in the medal handicap, played at One Tree Hill on Saturday:—John Earle, 83—15—68; V. C. Keys, 84—14—70; R. S. Newcomb, 92—20—72; S. R. Morris, 93_20-73; J. H. Earle, 80—5—75; J. M. Elliffe, 88—11—77. AKARANA CLUB. A medal round was held by members of the Akarana Golf Club on Saturday. Following were the results: —C. Camtnick tied for first place with J. Lee (Cammick SO —17— 00, Lee 87—18—60). The next best cards returned were: — Butin, jun., 70—6—73; J. McKenzle, 79— 6—73; Wyness, 82 —8—74. TITIRANGI CLUB. Members of the Titirangi Golf Club played a four-ball bogey handicap on Saturday under summer handicaps. The match resulted in a tie between F. G. Alpe and J. Young and A. M. Gonltling and H. L. Robson, who returned cards of 5 up. Other cards read: —W. J. A. Thomson and H. M. Rogerson, M. Bailey and W. L. Birch, R. J. Hamilton and J. Sommerville, 3 up ; H. l>. Brinsden and C. G. Fisher, L. Knight and R. A. Spinley. 1 pp. The semi-nnlss of the Summer Cup competition resulted : —F. \V. Lucas and H. L. Robson beat R. L. Wilson and A. B. Joplin, 5 and 4; E. E. Beehan and L. J. Williamson beat R. A. Spinley and L. Knight, at the 3 oth. A medal handicap will be played next Saturday, and the winter programme will lie opened on March 4 with the usual mixed bogey foursomes.
