WHEAT BOUNTY PROTEST.
A public meeting of protest against the wheat bounty, a meeting to which all citizens, both men and women, are invited, has been convened by the National Council of Women in_ the Chamber of Commerce at 8 o'clock to-night. The speakers will include representatives of the Chamber of Commerce, the Farmers' Union, the master bakers and the poultry keepers, as well as several women's organisations.
