MOTOR CAR DEATHS.
NO CASES IN CHRISTCHU'RCH.
HAVE DRIVERS REFORMED? (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) > CHRISTCHURCH, this day. In his charge to the grand jury at the opening of the criminal sessions of the Supreme Court to-day Mr. Justice Reed said it was remarkable that there were no charges of injury or of death arising out of motor-car accidents. "I fear I can hardly believe that this is an indication that all motorists have reformed," said his Honor, "but the fact is there are no charges of. that nature." His Honor added that there were no oases of direct violence and that was also a matter for satisfaction.
