HEIRESS' ROMANCE.
BROKEN OFF WITH COUNT. SAN PEDRO (Cal.), February Z. Barbara Hutton r 19, heiress to the £10,000,000 Woolworth fortune, has suddenly sailed for Australia, declaring that "all is off with Count Emannuel Borromeo." Though three times Miss Hutton's age, the Count assiduously attended her in Europe and at home. At the wharf he offered her a large envelope, which she refused to accept. "I am not going to marry anyone; that's definite and final," said Barbara. Borromeo had stated that he considered they were informally betrothed. Barbara denied this, and also that she planned to marry Prince Alexis Mdivani, young brother of the ex-husband of several Hollywood stars. Barbara's friends will be surprised if romance does not overtake her in sunny Australia.
