THREAT OF STRIKE.
U.S. FARMERS AND RELIEF. NEW YORK, February 5. A message from Des Moines, lowa, states that, a threat of a nation-wide strike of farmers was made last evening by Mr. M. Renon, who was the leader of the mid-western non-marketing campaign last summer. Mr. Renon declared that the farmers in every State would be asked to stop marketing their produce and buying from merchants if relief legislation is not expedited by the incoming Administration.
