COLLIDED WITH COW.

MOTOR, CYCLISTS HURT.

A motor cyclist, Samuel A. L. Newberry, aged 10, and a pillion rider, Arthur Blomfield, also aged 19, both residing at the same place in Papatoetoe, were thrown heavily from their machine on the Great South Road, in Papatoetoe, at 10.30 last night. They were just leaving Papatoetoe when they struck a cow in the middle of the road.

Newberry received head injuries and also injuries to the right knee, and Blomfield chest injuries. They were taken by the St. John Ambulance to the Auckland Hospital, where tho condition of both was stated to-day to be not 6crious.
