WAGE REDUCTION.
HAURAKX DRAINAGE BOARD. (By Telegraph.—o<vu Correspondent.) THAMES, this day. The Hauraki United Drainage Board decided yesterday to reduce wages for wet work from 14/ to 10/, and for dry work from 12/6 to 8/ a day. The secretary, Mr. J. E. Green, voluntarily offered to forego 10 per cent of his salary. The offer was accepted.
