CABINETMAKER REMANDED.

The theft of a radio set valued at £31, belonging to the Oratia Settlers' Public Hall Committee, at Oratia on April 2(>, was preferred against Norman Leslie Billingham (25), cabinetmaker, in the Police Court this morning. Accused was yesterday arrested by Detective Slater. Billingham was remanded until January 28. Mr. Hall Skelton appeared for accused, who pleaded not guilty. "He has a complete answer to the charge," said counsel.
