HEALTH TRIP.

Former Lord Mayor of London To Visit New Zealand. SIR VANSITTART BOWATER. (Received 1.1.30 a.m.) LONDON, January 19. Sir T. Vansittart Bowater, Bart., M.P. (Con., City of London), will leave London on February 2 for India, and will proceed thence to Australia, New Zealand and Canada. He is making the trip for health reasons.

Sir T. Vansittart Bowater has been M.P. for the City ,of London since 1924, and was returned unopposed at the last election. He was Lord Mayor of London in the year 1913-14. He was created a knight in 1906, and baronet in 1914. Sir Vansittart is over 70 years of age, and

has held many public offices in the City of London, including chairman of the Cattle Markets Committee, and ) of the Central Markets Committee. He'was an alderman of the City of London for the ward of Castle Baynard from 1907 to 1931. Sir Vansittart is also treasurer of the Royal Masonic Institution for Boys.
