NUMBERS ON THE DECLINE.

WELLINGTON, Wednesday.

The registrations of unemployed for the week ended November 26 totalled 60,311, according to a return issued by the Unemployment Board. This figure represents a reduction of 2660, compared with the registrations of a month previously. Appended is an analysis of the total number of men who were in one way or another a charge on the fund, the details from the return of October 29 being given for comparison purposes: — Xov. 26. The total numbers shown since the present form of returns was adopted liave been:—September 2, 73,241; October 1, 73,500; October 29, 71,971; November 26, 69,311. The total reduction since October 1 is 4285.
