EDENDALE SCHOOL.
The Mayor of Mount Albert, Mr. W. F. Stilwell, officially opened the recently improved playing areas at the Edendale School on Saturday afternoon. A large attendance of parents and friends was present. Mr. T. U. Wells, chairman of the Education Board, and Mr. A. S. Richards, M.P., were also in attendance. The chairman of the school committee, Mr. John Carrie, presided. Mr. Stilwell said that the new grounds* comprising three distinct playing fields, represented a wonderful effort.
