LEADING JOCKEY SUSPENDED.
J. E. PIKE OUT FOE THREE. months: SYDNEY,.December 4. The sensation of the Rosehill races yesterday was the suspension of the successful horseman J. E. Pike for three Pike, who. was riding for the first time since being suspended for two months for interference in the Centennial Park .Handicap, at Randwiek on October 3, was adjudged guilty of interference with Cercello in the Maiden Handicap, and was suspended for three months-for careless riding.
The three-year-old Closing Time, owned and trained by J. T. Jamieson finished third, in the Flying Handicap. The New Zealand-owned Michael Angelo was unplaced in the Maiden Handicap, and Havaspot in the Club Handicap. The sprint race resulted:—
