HELP FOR WOMEN.
APPEAL IN HOUSE. (I>y Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. A request was made to the Minister of Employment by Mr. A. S. Ricbarde (Labour, Roskill), in the House of Representatives this afternoon for a substantial contribution from the unemployment fund to the Women's Unemployed Relief Committee for the Christmas season. Mr. Richards eaid that much, relief had been given, but very many were still in need of clothing and other necessities, which the present funds did not provide for. ■,
