GOVERNMENT'S AIM. NEW AUCKLAND PLAN. SUPPORT OF MINISTER. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. "We will look favourably on anything that will stimulate ■work," said the-acting-Minister of Employment, Mr. Hamilton, when the Auckland City Council's plan was mentioned to him this afternoon. "We first of all must know what the nature of tho proposition is, and what it involves before we can express an opinion." He said lie would be pleased to hear wiiat the council liad to propound. The Minister added that the board would probably have considered favourably suggestions made regarding bridge proposals had the terms been suitable.
