At the Society of Arts Hall last even- ! ing the winners and runners-up in the' Auckland Rugby League's championship, Slarist Old Boys and Devonport United respectively, were the guests at a banquet; given by Mr. B. Montgomery, of the '■ Imperial Hotel. About one hundred ' players and officials of the clubs, members of various committees of the Auckland ; League, and the New Zealand Council took part. I
