AN APPEAL DISMISSED. CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. At the spring meeting of the South Canterbury Jockey Club hist month the Flying Handicap was won by Blue Metal, with Mount Boa second, but owing to alleged interference to Mount Boa the stewards reversed the judge's placings. Mr. C. A. Shield, owner of Blue Metal, lodged an appeal to the Canterbury District Committee againet this decision, the hearingbeing held this evening.
